New autobuild.py?

Hi,

I foolishly CVS upgraded my jhbuild to get the git backend so I could
compile a more recent cairo to build HEAD gtk+ and fix
http://jhbuild.bxlug.be/builds/2006-05-10-0010/
However now autobuild doesn't work as jhbuild has been refactored a lot.
Could someone update autobuild.py to work with the new jhbuild?

Thanks,

The version published on jhbuild.bxlug.be should work fine (it has
been updated a few times without notice).

http://jhbuild.bxlug.be/downloads/jhbuild/commands/autobuild.py
http://jhbuild.bxlug.be/downloads/jhbuild/frontends/autobuild.py

Would you mind checking you have the most recent version and report
any problem you might have ?

I am here and listening :)

Oops, I was wrong on that, recent jhbuild changes were not supported;
this is now fixed (all the fixes went into commands/autobuild.py).

Both autobuild.py files have been imported into jhbuild CVS and bzr, so
there's no need to download them from your website any more.

I've also started up a build using the Sun Studio 11 compiler, to weed out
gccisms, so more bugs will be filed soon. It's also good to see more
machines building, did you want to add a pointer to this list or a wiki page
so people know where the discussion is going on?

Great idea. This list is the right place for the discussion to happen,
but it is relatively unknown.

As part of a publicity strategy, I again recommend complaining
regularly and loudly to desktop-devel-list when builds fail, and
suggesting that followup discussion happen here.

The /participate page has now been updated.

I changed the primary contact address on /contact, this is not enough
but I'll work on texts later.
